Juan Ciscomani, the Warmongering, Often Confused, Donald Trump is Radioactive to Your Re-Election Chances

(Source: Peoplesworld.org)

We were going to write at length about how Donald Trump’s approval rating has plummeted in national polls, and how that can be inferred as disastrous for Republicans such as Juan Ciscomani, who are on the ballot this November. Trump’s numbers are awful, as shown by this chart from poll interpreter Nate Silver:

But then, fellow polling whiz G. Elliot Morris handed us even better Ciscomani info. His Strength in Numbers operation reported this week on polling in the districts of 135 Republican members of Congress, most of them running for re-election, that showed registered voters strongly disapproving of Trump’s presidency. He ranked them by the biggest Trump disapproval, and the “winner?” is:

Yes folks, Donald Trump has a 24 percent negative approval rating in Ciscomani’s district!

Of course, Ciscomani might say, “polls are not votes.” Votes, however, are votes, and Democrats won a lot of them in two elections on Tuesday. Politico.com had this summary: “In Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election, the Democratic-backed candidate sailed to a nearly 20-point landslide victory Tuesday in a battleground Trump carried less than two years ago. Meanwhile, a Georgia Democrat slashed Trump’s margin of victory by two-thirds in the state’s reddest district despite losing the election — the most significant overperformance the party has seen across all seven House special elections so far this cycle.” [www.politico.com/news/2026/04/08/democrats-gains-wisconsin-georgia-elections-trump-00863404]

We’ve argued in the past that welding one’s political fortunes to Donald Trump, as Ciscomani has, can be akin to having to abandon a sinking ship. We don’t think that anymore, since Trump started and disastrously handled the Iran War, and has presided over gasoline costs jumping up a dollar or more per gallon.

Juan Ciscomani, Donald Trump is no longer just a hindrance to his puppets. He’s radioactive, and it’s too late for you to don a lead-lined hazmat suit and pretend he’s not there by your side. Arizona Congressional District 06 voters know better.
