Thank you to everyone who voted for the Proposition. It doesn’t fix all of our problems, but it sent a clear signal that Arizonans value public education and are looking for more financial leadership from our state government.
I woke up this morning at 2 AM and checked online to find out the great news about Proposition 100 passing. As is my usual habit, I also read the comments. The comment boards have been active for weeks with naysayers, education haters, and prognosticators of the demise of Prop 100. In case you were wondering, they’re still kvetching. No surprise.
BTW Thanks to the AZ Education Network and all those who voted to support public education in AZ.
Come on David. This is a big win for thoughtful people. It’s also a big loss for the Gov and Leg. The voters have done their jobs for them. Now the voters need to find new representatives.
After all of the garbage these folks have brought us lately regarding immigration, it seemed like Arizona was on a fast track to destruction. But, as usual, the right-wing crazies have overstep, and they will pay at the polls.
