Kelly and Stanton React to Appeaser in Chief Trump’s Salivating of War Criminal Putin

It was a bad day for United States status as a Global Superpower.

Yesterday, American Duce Wannabe Donald Trump rolled out the red carpet for Russian Dictator and global pariah Vladimir Putin at a summit in Alaska (which the Know Nothing occupant of the Oval Office referred to as being part of Russia at the event announcing the take over of the D.C. Police Department) where the results were:

Russia: 1

United States: 0

Ukraine: Sold Out

After a brief post summit press conference where Putin did most of the talking and Mr. Trump rambled in incoherent thought and praise of Putin without taking any questions, no ceasefire deal was announced.

So much for the Art of the Deal.

However, this morning, Mr. Trump announced that he was of course supporting Putin’s position to proceed straight to peace talk negotiations which benefit Russia instead of a ceasefire that would benefit Ukraine.

In reporting by Reuters, Mr. Trump is quoted as saying:

‘Ukraine should agree a deal to end the war with Russia because “Russia is a very big power, and they’re not”

This is another example of Trump earning the title Appeaser in Chief.

Historians may argue Neville Chamberlain did not have the benefit of historical lessons of knowing how to deal with dictators with expansionist designs.

Trump has no such excuse.

However, this should be no surprise considering Mr. Trump’s earlier treatment of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office earlier this year.

They say pictures are worth a thousand words. Look at Mr. Trump with President Zelenskyy at the White House and look at Trump with Putin yesterday in Alaska and judge.

Two of Arizona’s members of its Democratic Congressional Delegation have reacted to Mr. Trump’s summit fiasco.

Senator Mark Kelly, a staunch champion for Ukraine, posted before this event:

“Putin is a war criminal who should be held accountable for the atrocities Russia has committed in Ukraine. Letting him land in the U.S. if there’s nothing in return makes us look weak.”

Afterward, he stated:

“Treat a war criminal like royalty, hide the meeting, share nothing. Putin gets a headline and Ukraine gets what? Next time, ink the deal first.”

Representative Stanton relayed:

“We all want this war to end, but not by giving Putin what he tried to steal with his illegal invasion. America should back Ukraine’s right to decide the terms of peace, not hold hidden meetings with a dictator. Any deal must both strengthen democracy & keep us united with our allies against Putin.”
