Every year the MLK AZ Celebration Team hosts a number of activities in Phoenix. There are several events in January, 2024, starting on January 3 with audtions (for MLK Festival), through the MLK holiday on January 15, to the Youth Rally on January 20.

The 38th Annual Living the Dream Awards Breakfast at the Phoenix Convention Center is slated for January 12.
The Phoenix MLK Festival on January 15 will be again held at the Margaret Hance Park, preceded by the Commemorative March from the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, in Phoenix.
