Meanwhile in the Trump Zone, Townsend and Finchem Make Awful News

Even when the Arizona Legislative Session is over, fringe Trump Zone Zealots Kelly Townsend and Mark Finchem are in the news and it is for all the wrong reasons.

Townsend, the Legislative District (LD) 16 Senator caught the attention of journalists and columnists at AZ Central and the Arizona Mirror by again equating the push by the Biden/Harris Administration to give people the Coronavirus Vaccine with the tactics of the Nazis towards Jews and other persecuted groups just before and during World War Two.

On September 12, Townsend tweeted this:

Of course, Pro Jewish Groups like the Arizona Branch of the Anti Defamation League did not appreciate the comparison, replying to the LD 16 State Senator:

Of course, Townsend, needing the last word, shot back:

Most readers would probably conclude it is Senator Townsend that needs the history refresher or even starter courses.

Meanwhile, Arizona Republican Secretary of State Candidates may have just received the political kiss of death with the announcement that the twice impeached, twice popular vote loser, and twice David Duke endorsed ex-White House Occupant, Donald Trump, has announced his support for LD 11 State Representative Mark Finchem for that position.

Democratic Secretary of State Candidates Reginald Bolding and Adrian Fontes must have big smiles on their faces right now with this potentially positive development for them.

In the ex-White House Occupants announcement, he cited Finchem’s support for the Big Lie regarding the 2020 Presidential election.

In reporting by AZ Mirror, Finchem thanked the twice impeached Trump, tweeting:

Voters need to remember that Mr. Finchem was present ( a video captured him wearing his Stetson steps away from Congress during the attack) at the January 6, 2021, Trumpist Domestic Terrorist Attack on the Nation’s Capitol and then tried to lie about his presence there.

That people like Senator Townsend and Representative Finchem are in positions of power is a sad commentary of our times.

In the 2022 elections, the people need to send a message to the residents of the Trump Zone that their views and positions are no longer welcome in the public discourse.

Turn out and vote them out.

Retire them to the alternative dimension they came from.
