Lend A Hand Senior Assistance, Inc. is a growing coalition of central Tucson neighborhoods, faith-based communities, and business partnerships. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Neighbors Care Alliance (NCA), a program administered through Pima Council on Aging (PCOA). PCOA is an education, information, referral and advocacy organization that services seniors and those who assist them.
Our Coalition Members are Campbell/Grant, Campus Farm, Hedrick Acres, Jefferson Park, La Madera, Limberlost, Mountain/1st, Mountain View, Prince Tucson, Richland Heights East, Richland Heights West, Samos and Winterhaven neighborhoods, and The Campbell Avenue Business Partnership, and The Mountain Avenue Church of Christ.
Our volunteers provide FREE services to our seniors to allow them to continue to age-in-place as our neighbors. Our seniors are those 55 years and older who live within the geographic boundaries of our collective neighborhoods. No senior is ever charged.
Our FREE services include transportation, errands, friendly visits, friendly phone calls, light yard work and light housekeeping. You do not need to reside in one of our neighborhoods to volunteer.
For information and to learn more about services call Michele Brubaker, the Volunteer Coordinator, at (520) 248-6882. Website:
