“I do not choose to be a
spectator in life or in politics," Sidhwa says about her motivation to
run for office. "I choose to make a difference – especially in these
times, especially with this legislature. I am a tireless worker, and I
will do what it takes to bring the Arizona Legislature into the 21st
century.”Ms. Sidhwa, who was born in India and raised in Pakistan, settled in
Tucson in 1981. She earned her graduate degree in anthropology from
the University of Arizona and is a small business owner, working as a
personal and career integration coach.Active in Democratic Party politics for over 20 years, Ms. Sidhwa has
been Chair of District 28, Vice Chair of the Pima County Democratic
Party and Vice Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party. She is also a
member of a number of local and state political organizations.
