My friend who sends me all the Pearce email just forwarded me his post election piece. It's long, it's self serving. Most of it doesn't warrant repeating. But this paragraph, quoted in full, verbatim, is worth the price of admission.
No retreat, no surrender, no Amnesty. America First, secure borders, safer neighborhoods, protect American jobs, save billions of dollars educating, medicating and incarcerating illegal aliens. Extremism is not extreme at all when it is in defense of freedom and defending this Constitutional Republic.
I just googled "No retreat, no surrender, no Amnesty." It has some history on hysteria-riddled anti-immigration websites. It even has its own little banner. Pearce is quoting, referencing the movement.
Maybe one of those right wing hate groups will hire him so he can keep spreading the gospel. It must be hard being the ex-Most Powerful Politician in Arizona, without people to bully, without cameras following him around. And soon, without his name in the paper. I guess it will give him more time to spend with his family. That's what they all say they're looking forward to, right?
