My New Column at the Explorer

Shameless self promotion edition. As of this week, I’ll be writing a regular column in The Explorer, a free weekly that circulates in northwest Tucson, Marana and Oro Valley.

Emil Franzi has had the political opinion section all to himself for far too long with what I’ll describe as his eccentric right wing views. (I’m using “eccentric” as a word of mild praise. He doesn’t toe the party line when he has an honest disagreement with Republicans, though he disagrees too infrequently for my tastes.) My column will give some balance to the Voices section of the paper.

This came about, by the way, as an indirect result of my blogging here on BfA. Great idea, Mike, opening the blog to a community of writers. Thanks, guy.
