No more interviews for Hicks! (except with Jon Justice)

In Wednesday morning's Star article about Hicks' jaw dropping appearance on the Daily Show, Hicks said, no more interviews.

Hicks said he will no longer grant interviews and will only speak during board meetings.

The article on the web has a posting time of 2am Wednesday, meaning Hicks must have made his no interviews pledge Tuesday.

And yet,

Wednesday, Hicks spoke publicly about [the Daily Show episode] for the first time on 104.1 The Truth.

It's not an "interview" when you've got a friend like Jon Justice on the other side of the mike, Michael? You might recall that you made your infamous statement comparing TUSD middle school students going into a UA Mexican American Studies class to the alleged sexual abuse at Penn State on a friendly radio show. That statement, presented unedited, was far worse than anything on the Daily Show segment.

The man can't keep his mouth shut.
