A letter in today's Star lays out what the country wants from Congress:

 . . . more jobs, lower taxes, smaller government, less intrusion from the government, immigration reform and an improved economy.

I mean, is that too much to ask?

All he wants for Christmas is six sound-bite solutions to all our problems — and a pony.

  1. That’s the problem in a nutshell….delusions of grandeur….we want and we want it NOW! Skin in the game is ok, as long as it’s not MINE…says the R’s and baggers…little problem on how to get there from here if you can’t spend any money to do it…we’re in a world of hurt. I can almost assure that we won’t have a terror attack though…the “evil doers” are watching and laughing as we implode from the inside, out. Just like they said we would.Thanks for the shit storm, George. Country First.
