Sonoran Alliance, a right wing blog, posted "proof" this morning that Colleen Mathis is in collusion with Raúl Grijalva. The "proof" is the photo at right, which shows two people identified by the blog as Mathis and her husband going into the building with Grijalva's office.
Here's a minor problem. That building houses all kinds of nonprofits as well as Grijalva's office. The people in the picture could be going into any of them.
Here's a major problem. According to Tedski, who has been following this all day, the two people are not Mathis and husband, but
Jeremy Markowitz and Trica Oshant Hawkins, who work for the Environmental Education Exchange, a non-profit that has an office in the building.
Sonoran Alliance has pulled the photo pending a check with the photographer to "verify the identities." Why are they doing this?
Because this has generated much wailing and gnashing of teeth among Arizona’s left and provoked the possibility of legal action, we believe it is certainly worth yet another verification with the photographer in order to ensure they are willing to stand by the photo or even go public.
Amazing how the left gets bent out of shape simply because S.A. misrepresents a photo in ways big and small. Don't those fact-based lefties know, in the right's war against the left (and anyone else they decide to target), truth is the first casualty?
