People to gather in support of Sean Arce before Tuesday’s School Board meeting

The gathering starts at 6pm Tuesday at the TUSD Admin Building, 1010 E. 10th St. In honor of Michael Hicks' comment on the Daily Show about the MAS Burrito Conspiracy — "They would, every week, go out and buy burritos and feed these kids" — it's being billed as a Burrito Tardeada. (For those who are Spanish-deficient like me, a Tardeada is an afternoon party [I looked it up]).

This is the board meeting where the nonrenewal of Sean Arce's contract is supposed to be finalized.

The Tardeada is reasonably early, but the actual public meeting will be pretty late, after a 7pm executive session. The public part usually doesn't get rolling until sometime between 8 and 9pm.
