Has it been over a year? The Pima County Democratic Party headquarters closed sometime last Spring 2020, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Executive Director Cat Ripley resigned in the summer to run for PCC Governing Board District 1 (which she won), then Josh Polacheck took over as Interim. Now there is a new Director Miranda Lopez, hired in March 2021. And a new PCDP Chair Bonnie Heidler as of Jan. 2021. Previous Chair Alison Jones had served 2 terms.
Come in person to meet these folks and other volunteers at PCDP on July 2nd, just before the 4th of July. Event is from 4 to 7 p.m. at 4639 E. St. (west of Swan Rd.)

Of interest this year are the City of Tucson Council elections in Ward 3, 5 and 6. Forums were held recently of all candidates. Reminder that the Dem primary for Ward 3 and 6 is on August 3, 2021. Vote wisely on or before that date. Early ballots go out on July 7.
