Political I.Q. test for state, national Dems

For the first time since last spring or early summer, I feel the wind at the Democrats' backs, both in the state and in the country. The same wind is blowing sand and spray in the Republicans' faces.

Will the Democrats use the wind to set sail in the right policy and political directions, leaving Republicans in their wake spitting out sand and salt water? Or will the Dems pull out the oars and row around in circles?

This is a crucial test of Dems' intelligence and will. Let's hope they/we seize the moment.
