Looking for some summer reading, followed by fall, winter and spring reading? Consider the Progressive Book Club. I just found out about it this morning and haven’t joined myself, so this is not a ringing endorsement, just some information I’m passing along.
If you link through the site, you’ll find a wide assortment of political and historical books as well fiction and even children’s books. The rules are similar to other book clubs. Buy three books for a dollar each (plus S&H and sales tax), then buy four books over the next two years at club prices.
You can find all the books elsewhere, but instead of searching through the overwhelming array of offerings at Amazon or your local bookstore, here you have a large but more limited selection of books that makes it easier to find what you’re looking for, or something you didn’t know you were looking for until you saw it.
