As I write this at 6:18pm, Maddow just finished a lengthy lead story on the Kingman prison break and Arizona’s private prisons. It pulls together all the threads as Maddow does so well, and adds details I hadn’t read about.

I watched the program and I can tell you: THIS is journalism! digging out the whole story and it’s ramifications. In our Arizona this goes on and we, the people? We’re oblivious until someone breaks out, as happened, and wreaks havoc! It will be interesting to see if any lesson is learned.
