Saturday I only got it half right when I said teabaggers would be rallying outside Giffords' office opposing health care reform, and the Pima Dems were planning a counter demonstration.
In fact, the "Tucson Tea Party" are rallying Friday to protest President Obama's Clean Energy and Security Act, which Giffords supports. The Pima Dems are organizing a counter rally to support Giffords.
Still a good cause, and important to give Giffords support when she's on the side of the angels, as she is on energy policy.
If you're interested, the group will be meeting at the parking lot for Giffords' office, at the southwest corner of the intersection of Pima and Swan, at 4pm. You can call the Pima County Democratic Party for more information: (520) 326-3716.
