Reaction to Biggs and Gosar being Inducted into the QAnon Caucus.

Last week, fellow writer Larry Bodine wrote: “Biggs and Gosar inducted into QAnon Caucus.”

This label, formulated by House Democratic Caucus leader Hakeem Jefferies and used by others like Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the DCCC in their fundraising ads, refers to, as Jefferies describes:

“The House Republican Conference appears to have been taken over by the Conspiracy Caucus, the Crackpot Caucus, and the QAnon caucus at the same time.”

Members of this Caucus include the usual lying and reactionary suspects of the loathsome from the Trump Zone and Fox Island looney bin. They are:

  • Mo “lets take names” Brooks.
  • Marjorie “Jewish lasers are causing California Wildfires” Taylor Greene.
  • Lauren “my best friend is a concealed weapon” Boebert.
  • Matt “accused sex trafficker” Gaetz.
  • Madison “sexual harassment” Cawthorn.
  • Andy “masks are an attack on freedom” Biggs.
  • Paul “my family will not vote for me” Gosar.

Not surprisingly, some of these residents of the far-right sewage system (Boebert, Taylor Greene, Gaetz, and Gosar,)  were reportedly interested in forming the white supremacist’s House branch called the  American First Caucus.

Virtually all of them (including Biggs and Gosar) have been accused of traitorously helping organize and encourage the 2021 Trumpist Domestic Terrorist Attack and attempted coup on the Nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Nancy Pelosi is right to have commented “the enemy is within” when talking about these UnAmerican insults to public service.

The Democrats looking to defeat Biggs and Gosar in 2022 offered their perspective on the Bodine article.

Joan Greene, who was also the 2018 and 2020 Democratic House Nominee against Biggs, commented:

“Arizona has known this about Andy Biggs for years. The name of the caucus may change over time but the beliefs are the same.

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

Maya Angelou”

Delina DiSanto, who was also the 2020 Democratic House Nominee against Gosar, wrote:

“Paul Gosar voted against House Resolution 1154, Condemning QAnon and rejecting the conspiracy theories it promotes. He believes we are in a Civil War and we have just not started shooting yet. He’s associated with Oathkeepers and Proud Boys. He supported Cliven Bundy’s armed confrontation with law enforcement due to Bundy owing Bureau of Land Management millions of dollars for Bundy’s cattle grazing. Gosar has been spewing conspiracy theories since he started in office in 2010. He is guilty of inciting the radical right-wing with his conspiracies, lies, misinformation, and hate speech. We must hold Gosar responsible for his words and actions. If we don’t, we are allowing these dangerous members of Congress to continue the divide of our nation and the blatant growth of white supremacy. This is why I’m running again to defeat Paul Gosar. He panders to the right-wing, incites them, and fundraises by his actions. I want to change that. I want to make a better quality of life for AZ04, Arizona, and our nation. Gosar doesn’t.”

Judy Stahl, another 2022 Democratic Candidate running for the party’s nomination to defeat Gosar, relayed:

“This is yet another example of how our current leadership is failing Arizona families by ignoring pressing issues our community is facing in favor of promoting outrageous conspiracies. I am running for CD-4 because the voters need someone they can rely on to find real solutions to issues like economic recovery and affordable living and healthcare. When I am elected, I will make decisions and propose policies based on facts, not fiction.”

Biggs and Gosar have continuously demonstrated they are not fit to serve the public. They need to be retired from public service along with the other members of the Q’Anon Caucus.
