Revulsion for Injustice Department’s Watch Lists for “Un- American,” “Anti-Christian” and “Anti-Capitalist” Thought

From The Cycle

Ever think those American concentration camps being built by Trump donors may be meant for people other than violent illegal immigrants?

Just today:

  • The ICE-Gestapo chased down people with no warrants in places like a Chicago Walgreens’
  • The Trump-appointed “Back to Jim Crow justices Supreme Court signaled their willingness to weaken or even invalidate Section Two of the Lyndon Johnson 1965 Voting Rights Act.
  • The Christian hypocrite Speaker of the House is still protecting pedophiles, as Senator Ruben Gallego has continuously asserted, by not swearing in Arizona Representative-Elect Adelita Grijalva.
  • The speaker lied about how he and his fellow MAGA Republican Congressman “stand by” the Capitol Police.
  • He stated that accusations of beating a girlfriend by a fellow MAGA Congressman were “not serious” to condemn.
  • He kept House Republicans away to continue a government shutdown of their own making while people wrestled with higher health insurance rates, food insecurity, starvation, and increased gas and grocery prices.

From Benjamin Slyngsatd

This follows Mr. Trump’s designation of Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization on September 22. There are many domestic terrorist organizations in the United States. Antifa is not one of them. It is not even an organization.

Instead, people argue that ICE is now a government-sponsored domestic terrorist entity.

It is striking that Mr. Trump and his repulsive White Christian Project 2025 apostates are again, in Orwellian fashion, labeling people against them for the very characteristics that they are guilty of.

How un-American is it to send masked secret police to pull people off the street without warrants or cause?

How Anti-capitalist is it to send a now $40 billion bailout to Argentina just to reward a MAGA kindred spirit and bail out Trump’s sycophantic allies?

How anti-Christian is it to let people starve, lose their health insurance, while billionaires get tax cuts they do not, and put work requirements on poor people to get Medicaid? Meanwhile, the holy roller Speaker of the House and his MAGA colleagues go on extended paid vacation protecting pedophiles, while people suffer.

Originally reported by Truth Dig, Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin spoke on the Senate Floor last week, condemning both this move and Trump’s unsanctioned war on Venezuelan boats in the Caribbean without providing any intelligence information on the supposed terrorist groups being targeted.

“In September, the Trump Administration … said that they were going to make secret lists of terrorist groups inside the United States and send the full force of the US government against those terrorist organizations. They are not telling anyone the names of these organizations, but they are authorizing law enforcement in the Intelligence Community to double down and come up with that list.”

This is a problem because the Trump Administration defined in that document a terrorist organization or domestic terrorism incredibly broadly. It suggests that any group that talks about anti-Christian values, views they don’t like on migration or race, differing views on the role of the family, religion, or morality, could all be grounds for labeling an organization as domestic terrorists.”

If this Administration is not telling us who’s on their secret designated terrorist list for groups in the Caribbean, they’re definitely not going to tell us who’s on their list of domestic terrorist organizations.”

“Meanwhile, we know what’s going on in some of our American cities. Trump said that he would potentially invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807. He has made more than 800 of our military generals fly in from across the world and talk about going after the ‘enemy from within’… and making American towns and cities their training grounds for the military.”

“That means certain cities where the violence has gotten to the level of an ‘insurrection’… means that the U.S military can now be used as law enforcement in our cities. It means the US military can arrest. They can detain. You can easily see a world where the President of the United States labels protest groups terrorists, doesn’t tell anyone, creates an excuse to unilaterally use the military inside our cities, similar to the way he’s used them in the Caribbean.”

“This is straight out of an authoritarian playbook where the President gets to play judge, jury, and executioner. This time, instead of stopping drug traffickers, it will be stopping Americans from exercising their right to freedom of speech…The president is looking for an excuse to send in the U.S military into our streets. To deploy the U.S military against his own people. To prompt confrontation and to hope that that confrontation justifies even more military force and military control.”

“This is a well-worn authoritarian playbook. It’s one that quite literally the United States of America was founded on rejecting the idea that the British holders, when they occupied American cities, abused American citizens to the point where Americans turned against them.”

“I’m a former CIA officer, a former Pentagon official. I’ve worked alongside the military my entire life. I cannot stomach the idea that the American people would fear the uniform military that has given their lives to protect them for so many years. But all of us in this chamber, and certainly those of us who have served in the past, have sworn an oath to the Constitution. Not to a king, not to a party, not to any one person. Nobody gets to rewrite the Constitution, not a president, not an advisor. No one. The President wants to use force abroad or at home. He needs to come to this body and explain it publicly to the American public.”

Arizona CD 7 Representative-Elect Adelita Grijalva

Not law and order

Commenting to Blog for Arizona while waiting to get sworn in to the House of Representatives by Christian hypocrite Mike Johnson, Representative-Elect Adelita Grijalva stated:

“The development of secret watchlists and punitive surveillance is not ‘law and order’ – it’s the architecture of a police state built on fear and retaliation. When dissent becomes grounds for government targeting, every American’s freedom is at risk. We must call this out for what it is and refuse to let intimidation replace Democracy.”

Democratic Senate Leader Priya Sundareshan

A slide into authoritarianism

Arizona Democratic Senate Leader Priya Sundareshan also commented to Blog for Arizona, saying:

“The Trump administration continues its slide into authoritarianism with this attempt to create vague and broad definitions in which organizations or activities can qualify as domestic terrorism and therefore be targeted by the federal government for criminal prosecution. It smacks of McCarthyism and echoes the “Red Scare” era in our country, which led to the unjust harassment of citizens and even led to the unjust execution of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. America should not repeat that shameful era of our history, despite Trump’s authoritarian desires.”

Arizona CD One Candidate Marlene Galán-Woods

Punishing “enemies”

Arizona House Congressional District One Candidate Marlene Galán-Woods responded to Blog for Arizona, writing:

“NSPM-7 is deeply concerning. It’s part of a clear and ongoing effort by this White House to weaponize the federal government against dissent and to punish those the president views as enemies.

My parents fled a dictatorship in Cuba. I know what it looks like when power is used to silence opposition, and I applaud Senator Slotkin for sounding the alarm before it’s too late.”

Rachel Bitecofer

Crushing all dissent

Democratic Consultant Rachel Bitecofer commented to the Blog:

“The broader list of political enemies was always going to be a natural conclusion of what Trump openly told people would be his number one concern: crushing all of his dissent.”

The memo makes it clear as day the next target of the president: the American people.”

“In a separate column for The Cycle on Substack, Bitecofer went further on this subject and told people the time to panic and act in every possible legal way possible to repel and defeat Trump and his supporters is now, saying, “by the time people believe what’s happening, it’s already too late to stop it.”

With the Supreme “Back to the Jim Crow” Court conservative majority signaling their intention to gut Section two of the Voting Rights Act, Democrats should intensify their efforts to find candidates in the likely redrawn districts that will be formed from the likely ruling that could win in these areas.

Otherwise, many innocent people, including those you care about, may find their way into one of those American concentration camps just for exercising their Constitutional rights and beliefs.
