Representative Yassamin Ansari Speaks Out in Support of the Victims of Epstein and Maxwell While Condemning the Trump Cover Up

Remember when Trump butt kisser and holy roller hypocrite Speaker of the House Mike Johnson sent members home for an extended summer break in the hopes that all the bad press and commotion surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files and found to be liable for sexual assault Donald Trump’s probable inclusion in them would die down

Well that strategy did not work.

House members have been back less than two days and there have already been closed hearings, the release of 30,000 pages of, according to Democrats, redundant documents, the filing of a bipartisan discharge petition to force, despite Trump and Johnson opposition, a House vote on the release of the Epstein files, and a press conference held by victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

One of the House members showing public support for the Epstein victims and condemning the Trump coverup in this matter is Arizona Congressional District Three Representative Yassamin Ansari.

In a series of social media video posts, the House Freshman expressed solidarity and sympathy for the Epstein and Maxwell victims while blasting Trump for calling the demands for the Epstein file release “a Democratic hoax.”

Following a closed hearing with Epstein/Maxwell victims, Ansari posted a video, commending the witnesses for their courage in appearing and demanding that the American political and legal system protect them and all women, saying:

“Listening to them. I was an awe because I don’t think I could have done what they did today. I think I would have been too scared and too fearful of what might happen to me and the fact that some of these stories and the abuse that has been ongoing for so long. I was four years old when some of the witnesses some of the folks in the room today began being abused by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and as the youngest woman currently serving in this body, I feel an immense responsibility that we do not let this go on any longer. That we need justice and accountability, and we need to prove to young women in this country, to our daughters and to our granddaughters that we will not let the government of the United States of America. What is supposed to be a free country, a country that believes in law and order, and justice and accountability protect the most powerful people, not only in our country, but who knows from across the world.”

Following the morning press conference with the victims where one blasted Donald Trump for calling the Epstein Affair a hoax, saying “This is a real situation. These women are real. To say it is a hoax is not…Please humanize us. I would like Donald J. Trump and every person around the world to humanize us. To see us for who we are and to hear us for what we have to say. There is no hoax. The abuse was real.,” Representative Ansari posted another video where she conveyed:

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell are literally at the Capitol right now, telling their stories, some for the first time ever about the abuse that they endured over a decade and the fact that they are demanding accountability after so many years of enduring this. We just heard from some of them. The press conference. It’s still going on. Very important questions were being asked by journalists. One of the journalists asked, how does it make you feel to hear Donald Trump refer to this as a hoax? And she said, ‘Clearly, I am a registered Republican, and this isn’t about politics for me, This is not a hoax. Listen to the dozens of women who are here speaking on behalf of more than a thousand women who were systematically groomed and abused by this person and by the folks who enabled him over the years.’ There’s also a lot of misconception going around…Republicans are trying to say they don’t want to sign this because they want to protect the privacy of the victims. The victims were just asked whether they want people to sign this petition. They all overwhelmingly said, absolutely. We have been waiting decades to hold these people accountable. They also talked about the massive corrupt scheme that allowed this to be possible. Fake companies. Fake marriages. Potentially foreign actors who were involved. So, this is not a matter of just blaming Epstein and Maxwell. There were so many other people involved and the fact that Donald Trump’s White House and Donald Trump personally is doing everything that he can to keep this thing quiet Is extremely extremely concerning and cause for question.”

Representative Ansari is right.

The victims deserve justice.

The predators who enabled Epstein and Maxwell and even participated in their horrid circle of physical and emotional assault and abuse on innocent women need to be exposed from the dark shadows they are hiding in and brought to justice and social shame.

It should not matter who they are or what political party they belong to.
