Gallego Releases The First Ad Exposing Lake’s MAGA Extremism

The Ruben Gallego for Arizona Campaign has not wasted any time reacting to the declared candidacy of Kari Lake for the United States Senate.

In a press statement yesterday (October 10, 2023,) Representative and Democratic Senate Candidate Gallego commented:

“Arizonans know exactly who Kari Lake is — and that’s why they rejected her the first time around. While she runs her same, tired playbook of undermining our democracy and pushing to ban abortion, I’m focused on addressing the very real problems that impact Arizona families, like creating good-paying jobs, securing our water future, and taking care of our veterans.”

The Gallego Campaign has followed up that statement with a new ad showcasing Ms. Lake’s fringe MAGA positions and temperament, hitting on all the high notes of her opposition to reproductive freedom, her disdain for McCain Republicans, and her continued election denialism.

Called the “Most Dangerous Politician in the World,” the Gallego campaign immediately broadcasts Lake’s views on the major social issue of the coming campaign, reproductive freedom, with her acknowledgment that she is against it and that “there is never a good excuse” for women to have an abortion.

Furthermore, the ad shows clips of Lake being against abortion pills and proclaiming that taking the “life of an unborn child is murder.”

Ad viewers would probably wonder if Lake’s firm position applied to cases of rape, incest, severe deformity, or if the life of the mother was in jeopardy.

The ad then hit the note on Lake’s loathing of McCain Republicans with her telling them to “get the hell out” at a Gubernatorial Campaign event last year. It also shows her at a CPAC event, proudly declaring “We drove a stake through the heart of the McCain machine.”

Maybe the Gallego campaign can recruit Cindy McCain to do a testimonial ad for him when the time is right.

The ad then delves into Lake’s election denialism from the 2022 Gubernatorial Campaign, showing her again asserting at a CPAC event that “they stole this election and every man, woman, and child knows it.”

The ad ends with Lake proudly proclaiming “I’m the most dangerous politician in the world.”

While there are other political leaders that can lay claim to that distinction (Putin and Trump for example,) of being the most dangerous politician in the world, it is safe to conclude that Kari Lake and her fringe MAGA and reactionary views are too dangerous for Arizona.

Voters need to remember that in November 2024.
