If you've been following the news and my posts about Mexican American Studies, you understand the controversy, but for a look inside the program from a philosophical, pedagogical and personal perspective, you have to attend an SES forum. I went to the last one, and as much time as I've spent looking at the program from the outside, I learned a whole lot more there.
Lest I made it sound too heavy duty, the forum is also very enjoyable.
