SB1070 Update: The ugly side of pro SB1070

Jt+pearce Not all supporters of SB1070 deserve to be called racists. But some are, and this bill does a great job of bringing them out of the woodwork.

Take, for instance, JT Ready, who is pictured awhile back with his buddy, Russell Pearce (who says he doesn't know the guy) and at Saturday's anti-SB1070 rally. I'll leave it to others to decide whether Pearce is a racist or simply a race baiter, but as for Ready, who is proud of his affiliation with the National Socialist movement, there's no question.

Ready showed up at the anti-SB1070 rally, loaded gun slung over his shoulder and confederate flag flying, to register his opinion. He said,

"Where in the planet is there one country that is for white people? There's not. See, we have nowhere to go.

[snip]

Hey, [Hitler] was a great white civil rights leader, you're absolutely right. He gave his life for white people.

[snip]

Remember the Alamo, that's what I say.

[snip]

[Asked if he was ready to use his weapons]: Absolutely. We're not out here for show."

Just a kook, right?  A dangerous, white supremacist, fringe group kook, who manages to get his picture taken with Russell Pearce. Pearce can't seem to steer clear of these types of people and the causes they espouse.

  1. This law has nothing to do with being RACIST……come on people wake up. It is to protect our borders. Try going to another country and get away with what people get away with here….FAT CHANCE. How Quickly everyone forgets 9-11.

    Okay, as opposed to this (which was preached everywhere at the Arizona rally the other day)

    “Stop pretending that your borders that separate our people have any legitimacy”

    “WE DIDN’T CROSS THE BORDER … THE BORDER CROSSED US!!”

    and

    “Expropriate the colonialists”

    Thats why I say, screw it – down with SB 1070! The bill is completely backwards! This country should not enforce Federal Law, and instead all US residents should be forced off the land so Mexico can have it! Brilliant!

  3. Let’s see if Pearce has as much guts as Linda Chavez – or maybe he agrees with this guy. If not, he needs to step up and say so!
