Here is the second part of Rachel Maddow's coverage of the Arizona private prison story, including the close relationship between the private prison industry and Arizona Republicans. This time, Russell Pearce is on the hot seat, along with all that good campaign money he rakes in from the private prison crowd. (And yet Pearce will win reelection in a walk. Why does he need such a big campaign war chest? Hmmmmm.)

For those of you who missed it, you can see the first part here. Together, they're most of what you need to know about the private prison story. It's more than I've seen in all the Arizona press coverage combined.
(Huge kudos, by the way, to Morgan Loew of KPHO, CBS's Phoenix affiliate. He laid some of the important ground work weeks ago, and Maddow spoke with him in both parts of her coverage.)
For those of you who want to see the Maddow Show's Exec Producer Bill Wolff give BfA credit for alerting him to the private prisons story (it's going to take me awhile to get over this one, folks), you can see it here.
