Emil Franzi, publisher/editor of the conservative online Southern Arizona News Examiner has endorsed a few Democrats in Pima County, for the upcoming General Election 2016:
Recorder – F. Ann Rodriguez, incumbent
Attorney – Barbara LaWall, incumbent
Assessor: Bill Staples, incumbent
Supervisor District 1: Brian Bickel
Supervisor District 3: Sharon Bronson, incumbent
LD 9 House – no to Anna (sic) Henderson (R). (The candidate’s first name is spelled Ana.)
Otherwise, the rest of the S.A.N.E. endorsements are Republicans including the U.S. President, except for the nonpartisan TUSD School Board (Mark Stegeman, an Independent).
They also gave NO endorsement for the CD 1 House race — Sheriff Paul Babeu (R) vs. Tom O’Hallenran (D).

Thank you. Some interesting endorsements. that are very like Emil. I enjoy listening to his show although I usually don’t agree with him or most of his guests. But he does bring voices we need to hear. Has he been out of town or been ill? There has not been a new podcast put on his website since mid-September of this year.
Not sure as I don’t always listen to Emil’s radio show. KVOI’s website lists him still doing the Saturday show “Inside Track” 1 to 5 pm. https://kvoi.com/schedule/
