People in the world of decency, fair play, and reality have been saying this for years.
Paul Gosar needs to leave Congress.
His continual embrace of the white nationalist end of the political spectrum, subscription to the 2020 Big Lie, accusations of helping plan the January 6, 2021, Domestic Terrorist attack on the Nation’s Capitol, and broadcasting of loathsome attacks on opponents over the years demonstrate the Arizona Congressional District (CD) Four Representative’s unfitness for public service office.
As AZ Blue Meanie and other news outlets have reported, Mr. Gosar, the person whose siblings will not vote for, hit a new low on November 7, 2021, when he released a video on social media showing him killing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and attacking President Biden with two swords.
When will enough be enough for the residents of CD Four?
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has called for ethics and criminal investigations into Mr. Gosar.
Paul Gosar needs to go.
He, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, should at least be stripped of any committee assignments.
He should also be referred to the Capitol Police and Secret Service for potential investigation of threatening a fellow member of Congress and the President of the United States.
Alex Alvarez, the spokesperson of the Arizona Democratic Party, issued a statement blasting Mr. Gosar’s latest trip to the Alt-Right Zone, relaying:
“Violent political rhetoric is dangerous and unacceptable. Paul Gosar depicting himself killing a Member of Congress raises the temperature to unsafe levels. Unfortunately, dangerous rhetoric is not uncommon in today’s Arizona Republican Party. When will the Republican candidates running to lead our state come forward and condemn Gosar?”
“Kari Lake won’t condemn Gosar, instead, she is campaigning as though he is her running mate. Karrin Robson Taylor won’t do the right thing, instead, she brags about the money she raised as a lobbyist to elect Senator Wendy Rogers. Matt Salmon won’t do the right thing, he is too busy cozying up to Steve Bannon.”
“The silence from Lake, Robson Taylor, and Salmon is more evidence that today’s Republican Party is more interested in chasing the support of radicals than standing up to extremism and solving problems for Arizona families.”
The two Democrats looking to politically retire Mr. Gosar by defeating him in the 2022 elections also weighed in by issuing comments.
Judy Stahl issued a statement which offered:
“Throughout his tenure in Congress, Gosar has displayed a despicable pattern of using fear and misinformation to promote his radical right agenda at the expense of Arizona voters. This week his rhetoric hit a new low. The video he released on Sunday was violent and obscene. It can only be interpreted as a direct threat to our President and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
I applaud House Democrats and Speaker Pelosi for initiating an ethics investigation into Gosar’s behavior. However, I fear censuring him will be too little, too late. His behavior has long been unbecoming of a member of Congress, but it is clear his behavior is becoming more unhinged and dangerous by the day. That is why I am calling on Congressman Gosar to resign, effective immediately, and allow new leadership to step in and do the work Arizonans need. If he refuses, I implore Congress to take action immediately and remove Congressman Gosar from office.”
Delina DiSanto, the 2020 Democratic Nominee against Gosar issued several stinging rebukes of the CD4 Representative on social media. These include:

Paul Gosar knows what he is doing and saying and how it incites his base. He creates bad actors. This video is no joke and his behavior is getting worse. He is dangerous. This should be reported to the House Ethics Cmte. His oath means nothing.

Paul Gosar says he doesn't espouse violence against @AOC or @POTUS in his immature but horrific anime video. Portraying murder and assassinations is violence, instills violence, causes violence.

Paul Gosar, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebart, Andy Biggs, Maurice Cawthorn, Mo Brooks, and Louie Gohmert, are insults to public service and the poster children for why our Democracy is in danger and why Democrats should retain control of the House of Representatives.
Of course, spineless worm House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy has done nothing to condemn Gosar or taken any action to remove him.
Some leader.
Democratic and Country loving political operatives would do well to mention that in as many social media ad segments as possible so the American People get that message in the 2022 elections and beyond.
Paul Gosar and his like-minded associates need to go.
