Performance Schedule for Tucson Chinese New Year Festival

Note location change this year to Tucson Mall, 4500 N. Oracle Rd.

For their Chinese New Year celebration, the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center invites Hawaiian, Indian, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese performers as well.

Year of the Monkey celebrations for Chinese New Year – updated

It’s Chinese New Year’s today. Celebrate the Year of the Monkey. Those born in the year of the monkey are alleged “very intelligent and able to influence people. An enthusiastic achiever, monkey people are easily discouraged and confused.”
Year of the Monkey: 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016.

Chinese Dragonboat Festival 2015


More info on the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center’s Dragonboat festival, go to www.tucsonchinese.org. Scheduled for June 18 and 20, 2015. TCCC is located at 1288 W. River Rd.
