That's the new count on the Facebook page, "1 MILLION Strong AGAINST the Arizona Immigration Law SB1070": 314,133 as of 5:48pm Monday. I put down the time because the count will probably be higher by 5:49.

You sir have skewed the facts concerning what you speak. There is no “Anti-immigration Bill” in Arizona there is only an affirmation of the federal immigration law in Arizona. The bill is only 16 pages in length and adds only one item “probable cause” that makes it differnt than federal law. If an law enforcement officer has “probable cause” to stop or detain you for a lawful violation than that is not racial profiling or racist in any fashion. The idea that Arizona has created their own “immigration law” is unfounded. Arizona is not “anti-immigrant” only “anti-illegal immigrant”. I truly wish people would read the bill and stop making random generic comments that are unfounded. There are no “paper(s)” requirements beyond what the federal government already requires non-citizens to carry. The possession of a valid state driver’s license is all that is required if stopped while opertating a motor vehicle, and in fact if not operating a vehicle and stopped on the street or in a public place there is no requirement to carry any identification. Additionally, if stopped in a public place the premise of “probable cause” comes to the front of the issue.
This Arizona bill actually does nothing federal law already permits and actually misses the larger point of not addressing border security.
