nothin yet.. š no email, no phone calls.. nothing
If you've been following the recent installments in the saga of the $400 rental deposit Republican Vic Williams (LD-26) didn't return to Tasha, an Iraq Vet and single mother, which ballooned to $1,845 when she took Williams to small claims court, you'll know that Jim Nintzel of Tucson Weekly picked up the story from my posts, called Williams and covered the story in The Skinny. I guess Nintzel's call must have jarred Williams, because his lawyer called Tasha and asked her to send a letter of satisfaction, after which Williams would write her a check. Nobody's fool, Tasha said she won't sign something saying she's satisfied when she hasn't gotten satisfaction. First she wants to see the money.
The call from Williams' attorney was Monday or Tuesday. Today is Friday. Tasha has heard nothing since.
Your move, Vic. As I see it, there are 6 days until Christmas, and you're looking a whole lot like Scrooge right about now.
