The East Valley Trib has written an excellent article on the push to create a new private school tax credit to replace vouchers the AZ Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional.
The article answered one question I had: why call a special session? The reason is, if the bill is passed in the special session, it will be ready for the coming school year. In a regular session, a 90 day waiting period would mean it wouldn't be usable until the following year.
