It has been reported that Senator Teran wants to run for the House of Representatives in Ruben Gallego’s Congressional District. Senator Gabaldon wants to devote more time to her personal affairs.

Responding to her election as Senate Democratic Leader, Legislative District (LD) 12 Senator Mitzi Epstein posted:
“I’m honored to serve as Senate Democratic Leader. As we work to make Arizona a place where dreams can come true for everybody, our diversity is our strength.”

New Whip, LD Nine Senator (and freshman) Eva Burch wrote:
“I am joining the leadership team for the Senate Democrats. I’m taking it very seriously and I will do my absolute best. I’m really proud of the caucus we have and even more excited about the future.”
