The plot thickens in the quest to find out if any shenanigans occurred when Republicans at the their winter meeting on January 23, 2021, took two ballots to barely reelect Kelli Ward as their party chairperson.
As reported by outlets like CNN, the Hill, and this Blog, Republicans, citing irregularities, are demanding an audit of the vote.
In her quest to win the Arizona Political Hypocrite of the Year Award, Ward, the one that demanded an audit of the Grand Canyon State Presidential Election results, is not interested in practicing what she preaches.
As reported in the January 29, 2021 issue of Yellow Sheet, Ward went on the James T. Harris’ Conservative Circus radio show and put a kibosh on the audit requests, saying:
“There is no way to challenge what happened.” “There’s no procedure, process, rules, that
allow for it to be done. And you certainly don’t allow a challenger who lost an election to demand something that they don’t have the right to and we don’t have the responsibility for providing. And you especially don’t let that challenger who lost the election to determine how it will be done.”
What gall. What nerve. What hyporcriscy. What chutzpah.
One could reasonably wonder what is she hiding. If he had nothing to hide, she should be the first in line to agree to an audit.
Ward’s statement clearly demonstrates she is nothing more than a power-grabbing and unethical Trump Zone zealot and fanatic who thinks it is perfectly fine for her to steal an election if it suits her ends.
What is left of the mainstream of the Arizona Republican Party needs to stop and steal and take Ward and her deputies to court and make them conduct an audit.
It is not like she won by 10,000 votes like Biden did across the state. She won by 42.
Stop Kelly Ward from stealing the election.
