They’re Creepy and Looney: Some of the Arizona Republican Ads

If you look at their recent social media ads, Kari Lake and Jerone Davison epitomize all that is wrong with the Republican Party in Arizona and across the country.

Lake, who needs all the support and turnout from the Trumpist base she can get on August 2, 2022, just released an ad blowing up parts of the border and stirring anti border hysteria.

Saying “Arizona is under attack,” the Republican Gubernatorial Candidate, with explosions going off on the Mexico side of the border (her ad designer must not be good at geography,) said she will:

  • issue a declaration of invasion.
  • finish Trump’s wall.
  • blow up the cartel’s drug tunnels and flying drones.
  • deploy the Arizona National Guard to prevent the entry of illegal aliens. Thought Governor Ducey already did that.

While Lake’s ad is worrisome and in character for her, the posting, reported in AZ Central, by Congressional District Four Candidate Davison is outrageous and in really poor taste given the rash of mass shootings around the country.

Equating the Democrats with the KKK (sorry Mr. Davison. This is the Twenty First Century, not the Nineteenth,) the Congressional candidate says, in a posting titled “Make Rifles Great Again” that the AR-15 is necessary to fend off intruders like 30 people-Democrats dressed in Klan clothing to defend his family.

What bull fecal matter. Mr. Davison needs a better home security system or a new community to live in  if the KKK can get into his backyard that frequently.

Admit it.

These ads are creepy and looney like many of the candidates the Republican Party is offering to the voters in Arizona and across the country.

The people need to turn them back at the ballot box on November 8, 2022.
