Well, it’s back in person at University of Arizona Mall on Saturday March 12 and Sunday March 13, despite the ongoing pandemic.  Masks will be required indoors.  Event runs both days, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This popular book festival cancelled in 2020 and went virtually online in 2021.

Ticketed events go public for registration at 12 noon on March 7.

” Friends of the Festival at $60.00 and above, as well as sponsors, will have access to reserve free tickets for ticketed events at noon on February 28, 2022. Everyone else will have access to reserve free tickets at noon on March 7, 2022. Ticketing ends on Friday, March 11.”

Carolyn’s note:  Since 71.4% of Pima County is vaccinated against Covid-19 and surgical masks will be required for indoor events, this might be safe this year. Enjoy the festival if you go.

  1. Fellow blogger David Gordan will be at the Tucson Festival of Books on Sunday 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Indie Young Adult Author pavilion, signing & selling his sci fi books. This pavilion is on the UA Mall, just south of the Teen & Author Stage. Listed on page 27 of today’s pull-out brochure in the AZ Daily Star. He will be at booth #453.
