Over 200 marchers participated this morning from Himmel Park library to Bookman’s Sports Exchange, where the Tucson Plugs In 2014 electric vehicles were on display. Former Councilwoman Molly McKasson (and her son) marched, as did Dr. Randy Friese’s wife Susan (the LD 9 House candidate/doctor was on call and unable to march). Even a man in a wheelchair was in the march. A few speeches at the end thanking the co-sponsoring groups (i.e Organizing for Action, Jim Holway for Corporation Commission), and TUSD candidate Betts Putnam-Hidalgo was there at the Plugs In event later.
