Anyone else see a pattern here?
As I posted earlier, when Howie Fischer wrote an article about Pearce and Adams raising the specter of people on the Redistricting nominating committee being anti-Christian, he didn't bother to ask any Democrats to comment. And Democratic legislators had plenty to say.
Today, Fischer has an article about Brewer asking John Boehner to let Arizona cut its AHCCCS rolls so it doesn't have to spend all that money on medical expenses of poor folks. Once again, not a word of comment from a Democrat — or from a doctor, or from someone who might lose life-saving health care if the rolls are cut. Nothing but a lengthy, unchallenged explanation of what Brewer wants, and why.
Last time I counted, there are still a lot of Democrats in Arizona. Republicans may have won big in November, but they didn't win 90% of the vote. Lots of us out here object to what these heartless Republicans are doing, and our position needs to be presented in a good, balanced piece of journalism.
