Bloomberg news is probably going to publish a negative story about the Koch Brothers soon. How do I know? Because the Brothers K are already getting their people to publish "prebuttal items."
The Brothers apparently did this prebuttal thing once before.
In April 2010 I got an unsolicited email from Koch Industries’ spokeswoman offering to “reiterate some important facts.” She said that Koch Industries and the Koch brothers had never funded the Tea Party, in case I was wondering. That, of course, was not true. And a few months later, Jane Mayer’s now famous expose on the Kochs and the Tea Party was published in the New Yorker.
The subject of the upcoming article? No one knows for sure, but the early deniers think it's going to be about a bribery case as well as Koch Brothers' sales to Iran. "Nothing to see here, folks, move along," the prebuttlers say.
We'll see what actually comes out when it comes out. My opinion is, the more mentions of the Koch Brothers and ALEC, along with other funders and enablers of the vast right wing conspiracy, the better. Let's get them out of the shadows and into the glaring spotlight of public attention.
