The Pennsylvania Department of Ed has a study out of possible cheating on its 2009 standardized tests. About 60 Pennsylvania schools, including both district and charter schools, had three or more "flags" out of a possible eight.
Where is the study from the AZ Dept of Ed? Our current Supe, John Huppenthal, loves studies and numbers. Think how easy it would be to create some of his own!
CARPE TESTING UPDATE: Still no admission from Hupp, et al, that there might have been an erasure problem at their beloved Carpe Diem Charter in Yuma. This year's AIMS scores have been released, but I haven't seen any from Carpe Diem yet. It would be interesting to compare this year's scores to those of the last few years. Anyone more capable and conscientious than me out there who wants to look into it?
