It feels an awful lot like Christmas.
While serial liar Donald Trump spoke in Pennsylvania on what he calls the affordability hoax and said that thanks to him, 40,000 Pennsylvanians have been lifted off (kicked off, actually) food stamps and children, while he drapes the Oval Office in gold ornaments, should be able to make do with one pencil and only three dolls, Democrats had another good election evening, scoring victories in now formerly Republican dominated seats in Florida and Georgia.
In Miami, Democrat Eileen Higgins won the mayor’s race, defeating the Trump-endorsed candidate and securing a position that the Democrats have not won in 30 years.
In parts of Georgia’s Oconee County and Athens, Eric Gisler won a special election for that district’s State House seat.
He had lost that seat by double digits a year ago.
What a difference a year makes when the person in the Oval Office is a mentally unhinged serial liar whose only priority is bringing a Whites-Only Gilded Golden Age for himself and his billionaire buddies while everyone else is left to fend for themselves and suffer.
The people have woken up to Mr. Trump and his MAGA supporters’ poor economic and social prescriptions for America.
