You have to wonder. The Accidental Guv is forever talking about how she cares about Arizona's economy. Yet here she is, saying she'll continue her BWB — "Breathing While Brown" — crusade even if it hurts us financially.
Gov. Jan Brewer emphasized Wednesday that Arizona won't back away from its tough new law aimed at illegal immigrants even if boycotts take business from the state.
Why does she hate Arizona?
The weird thing is, she claims it's not her fault. It's the "Others" causing all the problems.
She said she is disappointed and surprised at the reaction – much of it from other states – and the calls to impose economic sanctions on Arizona.
"How could further punishing families and businesses, large and small, be a solution viewed as constructive?" she asked.
A little logic please? When families, businesses and governments decide not to spend their money in Arizona, that doesn't mean they stuff the money under their mattresses. They just move it to another state that doesn't encourage racial profiling. The overall effect to the U.S. economy: Zero. It's actually a boon to the other states that get our business.
If I were New Mexico, Utah and Nevada, I'd be sending the Guv and every AZ Republican legislator a personal Thank You note.
