Brett Mecum was fired from his job as head of the AZ Republican Party.
No, not really. He actually resigned. But the party agreed to "fire" him so he could collect unemployment.
Perfectly legal. But doesn't that, um, take away his incentive to go out and look for a job?
How sad. Yet another lazy, deadbeat Arizonan sitting in front of the TV in his underwear, sucking down beer and living high on our hard earned tax dollars. I expect Al Melvin to come knocking at Mecum's door waving a copy of the Want Ads.
