Ole Thuckarooskie is in the race of his life, thanks in part to his exposure as a Latino bashing late-night internet troll who expresses disdain for the students he purports to “serve” and for the public schools he was elected to “superintend.”
The good news is we have a candidate, David Garcia, who has the experience, credentials and backing to actually defeat Thucky. But if David doesn’t have a little financial support from us, we might not be saying “Adios, Thucky” in November.
So, today is David Garcia Moneybomb Day.
The Garcia team is asking its supporters to make a $15 contribution to the campaign today, but I’ve told them I want my readers to contribute $14.92 instead.
DONATE $14.92 HERE
That’s just $14.92 to say “Adios, Thucky.”
Why $14.92? Well, I’m hoping 100 of my friends will honor my request, which will add up to $1492. Of course, 1492 also is the year the Spanish language was first introduced in the New World. So we can give our friend Thucky a nice history lesson here.
And if you’re up for more than $14.92, do a multiple: $29.84, $44.76. Or, if you prefer, anything that ends in .92.
$14.92 for a state superintendent who actually supports public schools… I’d say that’s one heck of a deal.
Done! Great idea, Bob. Love to say, “Adios. Thucky!” Would be a novel idea to have someone in the position that actually understood and CARED about kids and their education for a change!
