A decade before Donald Trump became the Republican nominee for president, his candid views on women were caught on tape.

“I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women — I just start kissing them, it’s like a magnet,” Trump said in a 2005 conversation with Billy Bush, at the time an anchor for Access Hollywood, in crude, coarse language. “I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything… Grab ’em by the pussy.”

In the 2005 recording obtained by NBC News from Access Hollywood, Trump, then newly married to Melania Trump, spots a young woman through the bus window.
“Woah, woah,” he said to Bush about the woman’s appearance. “I gotta use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her.”
Earlier in the conversation, Trump recalls talking about trying to woo a married woman.
“I moved on her actually, she was down in Palm Beach and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try to fuck her, she was married … and I moved on her very heavily,” Trump is heard saying.
“I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture and I told her ‘I’ll show you where you can get some nice furniture,'” Trump is heard saying. “I moved on her like a bitch, and I could not get there, and she was married. And all the sudden I see her and she’s got the big phony tits, she’s totally changed her look.”
Deplorable.
The Donald’s response after release of the audio tape was not to deny that he said it, but to deflect: Bill Clinton!
“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” Trump said in a prepared statement. “I apologize if anyone was offended.”
Oh, the non-apology apology. The ladies are gonna love that.
Looks like The Donald’s already bad week just got a whole lot worse.
John McCain has responded. Unbelievably, he thinks that Trump alone should suffer the consequences.

In other words, John McCain will continue to support Donald Trump and does not want anyone to use that against him. I have thought for awhile that this election will be a defining moment for Republicans. In ten years, we will still be rating Republicans by how they handled Trump. Some, like Ben Sasse, John Kasich, the Bush family, will look good. Others, like Jeff Flake, will come out of this okay. The rest of the party, the Trump lickers, will not fare so well.
It won’t matter to his supporters. American lingo has become more crass, though TrumpTalk is truly misogynistic. Trump has a disorder. Narcissism? Insecurity? Search the DSMV. The POTUS position in 21st century world is too important for an amateur. W proved that. I dislike Hillary, but considering one of the two will be elected, I’ll vote for her, and still work for change.

They compare it to Bill Clinton’s cigar antics.

There is a God, and she’s a woman. I hear Pence dumped his press pool when this happened. The joint campaign appearance in Wisconsin with Ryan should be quite interesting if it happens. I hope these two remember the old biblical adage about it not profiting a man to gain the whole world by forfeiting his soul. If it’s not worth it for the world, it certainly wasn’t worth it for Trump.
