I am still reading through the economic data and analysis on the compromise capitulation tax deal between the White House and Republicans (it's not good).
When Republicans were in the majority, they got everything they wanted for their corporate masters with the help of corporatist Democrats.
Even when Republicans were in a super-minority, they got everything they wanted for their corporate masters with the help of corporatist Democrats.
And of course, the help of corporate media propaganda.
The corporations own us.
Which brings to mind a classic George Carlin routine on "Our Owners" and the "American Dream – because you have to be asleep to believe it."
