As a favor to Rep. Steve Farley (D-Tucson) in Legislative District 28, I will post his appeal to help Democrats take back Arizona this fall:

"Want to make a powerful statement to Republican Governor Jan Brewer and Republican Senator Russell Pearce that you won't tolerate intolerance?

Hit 'em where it REALLY hurts. Give generously to the hardworking activists in the bluest part of Arizona: the Pima County Democratic Party!

Every dollar you donate will go right to work identifying Arizonans who will vote Democratic and give them the tools they need to kick the far-right wing out of office this November.

Let's take this viral. People worldwide are outraged at the police-state mentality of SB1070, which even the sponsors admit does nothing to secure the border. Instead of hurting good Arizona businesses and workers through a scattershot boycott, take your money and send it to the Arizonans who are already working hard to oust the people who brought us SB1070.

Let's push for 500,000 $20 donations by Memorial Day. That's $10 million to elect a Democratic Governor and a Democratic Legislature.

Simply send your friends all over the country this link to the PCDP fundraising page: http://pimadems.org/contribute.html

Send this appeal to everyone you know. RIGHT NOW! Post it on Facebook. Send a Tweet. We can do this.

Target your anger carefully. Create real change. Fund the Pima County Democratic Party today.

Under Arizona law, county party organizations have much more flexibility in how to spend money than does the state party organization. By contributing to the Pima County Democratic Party, Democrats in Arizona will have the flexibility to spend your generous contributions in the most effective way possible.

Here in "blue" Pima County we can begin by defeating the handful of Republican insurgents in or midst who are enablers of the Radical Republicans in the State of Maricopa. Let's turn the Free Republic of Arizona blue all the way to the State of Maricopa line. ¡Viva Baja Arizona!
