Glassman Goes Up With Newest Ad, "A New Leader"
U.S. Senate candidate Rodney Glassman's campaign today put up its newest ad, titled "A New Leader."
p>The 30-second ad highlights Glassman's record of being a consensus-builder on the Tucson City Council, his work on behalf of children's charities and his promise to make Arizona the world leader in solar power.
The positive ad stands in stark contrast to the actions of John McCain, who went on a tirade against fellow senator Barbara Boxer and then smeared two members of Arizona's congressional delegation.
Glassman is on the road traveling Arizona's 15 counties and making the case that voters must turn the page after 28 years of John McCain getting elected in a state he refuses to serve.
"Voters know this election is about the future and not the past," said Glassman campaign manager Bill Romjue. "John McCain represents all the policies that got us into this mess and it's time for new leaders like Rodney Glassman to get Arizona and America moving again.
With a plan to put Arizona back to work in the short term and provide quality leading-edge jobs in the long term, Glassman says he's ready to lead.
"Arizona needs to turn the page and that means electing a U.S. Senator who will work for the people who send him to Washington," Glassman said. "I'm excited that we are putting a positive message forward."
