Tucson City Councilman (and possible U.S. Senate candidate) Rodney Glassman married the lovely Sasha Borsand on Sunday in front of a couple of hundred or so family members and friends in a wedding ceremony at Congregation Anshai Israel. Congratulations to the newlyweds. Mazel tov!
Rodney's former boss Congressman Raul Grijalva was in attendance, as was former Tucson Mayor George Miller and his wife Roslyn, Tucson councilmembers Richard Fimbres and Regina Romero, Rep. Steve Farley (LD 28), and Mesa Mayor Scott Smith. Council staff members Katie Mass and Katie Bolger also attended. Paul Cunningham (George's son) and Sami Hamed (a candidate for the House in LD 27) were ushers.
I was not in attendanced. Those who were with whom I have spoken did not know the couple's plans for a honeymoon. Let's give the newlyweds their privacy over the holidays.
