Sen. Frank Antenori shoots his big mouth off again

DC_Protest_2What is it will all of these Tea-Publicans and their gunplay imagery lately? Now Sen. "Don't make me angry" Frank Antenori shoots his big mouth off again in an interview with the Arizona Capitol Times Yellow Sheet Report (subscription required) "BREWER NOT CHAMPING AT THE BIT, EITHER" (July 14, 2011).

The Yellow Sheet Report is about Rep. Terri Proud (R-LD 26) and other Tea-Publican legislators calling for the ouster of the independent chair of the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission, Colleen Mathis, because — Gasp! — she exercises her independent judgment instead of bowing to the demands of the Tea-Publican leadership of the Arizona legislature (which would make the "independent" commission a sham, now wouldn't it?) Several Tea-Publican legislators want the governor to call a special session to remove Colleen Mathis and even to refer the repeal of Prop. 106 (2000) that created the Independent Redistricting Commission to the ballot in November.

Here is the money quote:

Some want to oust IRC Chair Colleen Mathis and others want to put Prop. 106 on a special election ballot in November – Antenori said they should do both – while some would prefer to duke it out in court after the districts are drawn, he said. “Not to drag in a Lori Klein analogy, but the gun is loaded and it’s just figuring out what target to point it at and when to pull the trigger,” Antenori said.

This is the same dumbass who said during the Republican CD 8 congressional primary in 2010:

Frank Antenori sums up the primary like this: "Whichever one wins, they need to go after her [Giffords]. They can’t pussyfoot around her. Paton has more experience and because of that is more methodical. Kelly is just a brawler, and a lot of people just want to see him get through the primary so he can slap her around in the debate."

You like to "slap around" women, do you Frank? Now you want to "pull the trigger" on Colleen Mathis? Do we have a serious misogyny problem here Frank? Get some counseling.

"Don't make me angry" Frank Antenori has made similar threats to the Pima County Board of Supervisors, the Tucson City Council, and the editors of the Arizona Daily Star.

Frank Antenori has anger management issues and has a propensity to resort to violent imagery in making threats to others. This man is unfit to serve in public office. I have been calling for his recall for many months. It may be too late in the game now. But voters should make certain that this loser never serves in public office ever again.
