Howard Fischer reports Judge in immigration case receiving threats:
The federal judge who halted parts of Arizona's immigration law is getting "thousands" of e-mails and phone calls, many in opposition to her ruling – and a few threatening her life.

David Gonzales, the U.S. Marshal for Arizona… said most of those were in opposition to her decision to grant the injunction against SB 1070 sought by the U.S. Justice Department. A smaller number were in favor.
"We understand that some people are just expressing their First Amendment rights, even as perverted and strange as some of these were," Gonzales said. What concerns him and his officers, whose duties include protecting judges, are those that "cross the line."
Gonzales didn't spell out the content of any of the messages. But he said the line is crossed "when there's some kind of threats to the judge, in this case, or to a family member." He said only that "several" of the thousands of messages are being investigated.
